AGENDA NOBLE COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD JUNE 28, 2017 - 10:00 A.M. MEETING NOBLE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY - ALBION - SHULTZ ROOM I. Meeting called to order. II. Approve the minutes from the May 24, 2017 meeting.

III. Old business:

A. Consider the implementation of any future action items included in our 5-Year Park Master Plan.

B. Review the new NCPRB website, designed by member Scott Allen, and how it links to the Noble County Squarespace government website, with Steve Hook, Noble County GIS Manager.

C. Review the plans for the July 22nd "Take A Stroll Saturday" Canoe/Kayak event on the Elkhart River, and how the June 24th Stroll went at Hidden Diamonds Park in Albion.

D. Discuss the status of the Ligonier Strawberry Valley Greenway trail project with member Zach Becker.

E. Discuss the Noble Trails program with member Scott Allen, and determine if there are any possible ways we can support them.

IV. New business:

A. Noble County Councilman Jerry Jansen will be present to discuss our May 24th meeting with Jason Kissel, Executive Director of ACRES Land Trust, and how Noble County could possibly benefit from some of Jason's ideas.
