AGENDA NOBLE COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD NOVEMBER 29, 2017 - 10:00 A.M. MEETING (COMBINED NOVEMBER/DECEMBER MEETING) NOBLE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY-ALBION-SHULTZ ROOM I. Meeting called to order. II. Approve the minutes from the September 27, 2017 meeting. III. Old business:

A. Consider the implementation of any future action items included in our 5-Year Park Master Plan.

B. Review the NCPRB website, designed by member Scott Allen, and how it links to the Noble County Squarespace government website, with Steve Hook, Noble County GIS Manager.

C. Review the results of the October 28th "Stroll" at the Fishing Line Trail near Rome City, and discuss some ideas for the 2018 Stroll Program. Meet Kaitlyn Sproles, recently hired Interpretive Naturalist at Chain O' Lakes State Park.

D. Discuss the status of the Ligonier Strawberry Valley Greenway Trail project with Jeff Boyle, City of Ligonier.

E. Discuss the Noble Trails program with member Scott Allen, and determine if there are any possible ways we can support them.

IV. New business:

A. Discuss the West Lakes/Elkhart River flooding issues with Diann Scott, President of the West Lakes Homeowners Association.
