NOBLE COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD

MARCH 27, 2019 - 10:00 A.M. MEETING

NOBLE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY-ALBION-SHULTZ ROOM

I. Meeting called to order.

II. Approve the minutes from the February 27, 2019 meeting.

III. Old business:

A. Consider the implementation of any future action items in our IDNR 5-Year Park Master Plan. Continue with the process for up-dating our IDNR 5-Year Park Master Plan with Kenneth Hughes-Noble County Planner. Conduct the final public hearing for the up-dated Master Plan. Review the discussions regarding the possible formation of a Noble County Recreational Council.

B. Review the activity on our NCPRB website, designed by member Scott Allen, and how it links to the Noble County Squarespace government website.

C. Discuss the replacement of a 2019 "Take A Stroll Saturdays" program with the promotions of the various outdoor events and activities around Noble County.

D. Review the status of the Noble County Winter Recreation Photo Contest.

E. Review the Noble Trails program with member Scott Allen, and determine if there are any possible ways we can support them.

IV. New business:

A. Discuss the possibility of receiving some marketing assistance from Lori Gagen, Marketing Director for the Noble County Economic Development Corporation.
