Funding available for large-scale events

The Indiana Sports & Tourism Bid Fund, created by the Indiana General Assembly in 2022, gives communities a tool for greater competitiveness when pursuing large-scale, economically significant sports tourism events.

Oversight of the funds is by Indiana Sports Corp and requires that at least 30% be spent outside of Marion County, Indiana. For 2023, the General Assembly has provided $5M. These funds will equips Indiana Sports Corp and its partners with the tools to pursue events with greater intentions and of more significant size than were previously realistic.
